About the Artist
Terry O’Neill has been involved in the Irish Traditional Music scene since the late 1970’s and has shared the stage with well-known groups such as The Irish Tradition, Celtic Thunder, and was the original fiddler in O’Malley’s March. As a member of the D.C-based quartet Dogs Among the Bushes, he performed at the Festival Interceltique in Lorient, France. Terry has recorded with many groups, including the Baltimore groups Reel Time and Kinsale. Terry spent over 20 years as an instrumental music teacher in Harford County before retiring in 2021. His repertoire is informed by his deep knowledge and appreciation of the archival recordings of Irish musicians spanning the last 100 years. Terry performs solo and also as a member of the Irish quartet Gallagher's Frolics.Featured Work
