About the Artist
Victoria Rouse is an artist and museum professional that lives and works in Baltimore, MD. She started painting and drawing at a very young age but did not decide to pursue it professionally until her adult years. Victoria received her Bachelor of Fine Art in painting, drawing, & printmaking from Towson University (2019) and Associate of Fine Art in painting & drawing from the Community College of Baltimore County (2017). Her artwork explores themes around her personal experiences with self love, identity, and physical appearance. The use of wallpaper and botanical patterns in her pieces serve as a reference for positivity, safety, and a form of sophistication of the subjects that she uses in her work.
