About the Artist

I have been an artist for more than 25 years.  I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, attended classes at the Atlanta College of Art, and started out my career working as a Graphic Artist, as well as a Scenic Painter. I also dabbled in the early stages of video animation and, in 1993, won an Emmy Award for the computer animation title and intro of a documentary entitled, “Southern Bases.”  Thereafter, I ventured in to the hectic world of financial sales and marketing. In 2007, I decided to devote more time to my family and daughters, both of who are also artists, and returned to working as a professional artist, instructor and program administrator. My business is Tutoring Art, a mobile art studio. I teach painting, clay sculpting and other mediums to all ages. I accept commissions for sculpture, painting, murals, and pyrography. Please visit tutoringart.com and/or LIKE my Facebook page, Tutoring Art for more details.
