William Alston

About the Artist

William Alston of Baltimore Abstract Artist, graduated from the historical Frederick Douglass High School, as an Art Curriculum Major Student. He continued his education at the Community College of Baltimore Majoring in Art. He served in the U.S. Army for a total of fifteen years (active duty), and four years in the U.S. Army Reserves. While traveling around the world it exposed him to a greater level of awareness in Art. William Alston Art Work has been on exhibited in Germany, at Maryland Art Place Inc. Baltimore MD, at Hamilton Art Gallery, Baltimore MD,  at Zelda Restaurant Baltimore MD, at Marcus Garvey Festival Baltimore MD, as well as Mondawmin Mall Art Contest in 1998, 1999, 2002. William Alston Art Work, also have been on exhibite in other Art shows locally and nationally down through the years.  

Artist's Statement

SOME ARTIST SEE THINGS AS THEY ARE AND THEY TRY TO PORTRAY THEM........I SEE THINGS THAT NEVER WERE, AND I DARE TO CREATE THEM!!!
