Artist's Statement
I hope to connect with people via our mutual deep respect for nature and to also create awareness for the preservation of our symbiotic bond with the Cheasapeak Bay and its tributaries. My process is beyond the mechanics of producing art. I kayak the Maryland waterways meeting nature up close in its quiet creeks and back waters. I do research on the subject and glean from my life experiences. I hope that my paintings and love of nature prompts a connection to wildlife or brings an awareness of the condition of the bay and its inhabitants.Featured Work
