About the Artist
Zorina Exie Frey is a 2023 Pushcart Prize winner holding a master's degree in Poetry and Creative Nonfiction from Converse University, a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, majoring in Journalism with an English minor, and a web design certificate from Indiana University South Bend. She also holds a certificate in Literary Publishing from Emerson College. Her notable works are published in The Journal of Poetry for Therapy (Routledge Taylor & Francis, 2024), Introduction to Afrofuturism: A Mixtape in Black Literature & Arts (Routledge Taylor & Francis, 2024), and Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her animations and screenplay, Harley Quinn Origin, received an honorable mention at the Birmingham Film Festival in the United Kingdom, and she was a semi-finalist for the reality TV pilot, Americas Next Great Author. She is also a search engine content creator and teaches college English and creative writing.
