About this Organization

Arteasy aims to provide accessible, affordable, and fun art activities across age groups to our Riverside neighborhood and the wider Baltimore community. Our goal is to make art accessible and exciting for our neighbors. Arteasy offers a variety of planned activities and services to our community: open studio hours, kids’ and family programs, our Artist Community Member program, as well as bespoke workshops. Arteasy provides a quality third space to our neighborhood with open studio hours three times a week. We welcome in neighbors to express their creativity through craft passes, $10 Tuesday, and special artist demos and activities. We offer manageable price points in order to encourage creativity and offer a unique space that’s focused on generating (art!) rather than consuming (food/drinks). Arteasy offers children’s and family programs, including summer and school days’ out camp programming across summer, school day out, and winter programming. Arteasy has partnered with Riverside-based schools for after-school programs, and we’ve been proud to offer weekly crafts to our community.  Arteasy launched its Artist Community Member model in August 2025. The Artist Community Member model is designed for early career artists to have 24/7 access to the studio space, a supportive creative community, and a shared platform. The membership includes both Key and Community Membership options, where Community Members provide 10 volunteer hours a month, leading open studio hours and initiatives to support studio operations, growth, and community engagement. Arteasy offers private workshops and events, including birthday parties and other celebrations. Workshops are led by artist members, as well as established community artists. We offer a variety of mediums and opportunities, which means we often have new and different community members coming in to learn skills. We serve as a hub for the community through private events and by offering offsite events.
