About this Organization
The Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) is a nonprofit arts organization committed to performing, teaching, and advancing improvisational comedy. Based in the heart of the Station North Arts District, BIG serves the Baltimore community through weekly stage shows, public classes, and curated programming that brings people together through laughter and creativity. In addition to our performances, we offer tailored workshops, workplace retreats, and school assemblies that use the tools of improv—active listening, collaboration, adaptability, and creative risk-taking—to support team-building, communication, and personal growth. Our work reaches people of all ages and backgrounds, from students and educators to community leaders and professionals. BIG provides an inclusive space where individuals can explore their voice, strengthen relationships, and tap into the transformative power of play.
