Blaq Girl Comics is a publishing company celebrating the power and imagination of Brown and Blaq girls through fantasy and speculative fiction. We center stories that spark joy, not trauma—uplifting narratives where our heroines thrive, explore, and reshape worlds. As we garner more funding, our goal is to host monthly literary classes across Howard County to help preschoolers build reading and language literacy. Our mission is to nurture creativity, representation, and belonging through storytelling and arts education. Bring your stories to life with Blaq Girl Comics. Services/Opportunities

Besos & Books is a 30-minute literacy and language enrichment class for preschoolers inspired by the Afros, Besos y Chocolate series. Through interactive storytelling, playful reading exercises, and engaging activities, children explore language, build vocabulary, and develop early reading skills in a joyful, culturally affirming environment. Each session celebrates diversity, encourages imagination, and centers Black and Brown experiences, helping young learners connect with stories while strengthening their literacy and language fluency.

Ink & Impact provides organizations and networks with original, high-quality storytelling that delivers both creativity and purpose. We specialize in crafting comic books with centered messages that celebrate diversity, representation, and joy, as well as writing scripts for media, presentations, or campaigns that engage audiences and leave a lasting impression. From concept to final draft, our team transforms ideas into compelling narratives that resonate, educate, and inspire.

Humans have migrated to other worlds.

The Heroes of Old Earth are long gone.

Still, the Universe has birthed a new generation of superhumans, who are known as Energy Keepers. The Energy Keepers, along with the people of Planet Djoria, maintain the order, peace, and balance of all life. Some have chosen to accept the call. Others have not.

Our story takes place on Planet Mahru, the home of millions of humans united under the rulership of Queen Luna. After a visit from a stranger from the future, Queen Luna discovers that she too is an Energy Keeper and that she is the only one who can save her world from a threat that can destroy all that she loves.

It’s a love story, with incredible superpowers, and will remind everyone, especially our children, that they are loved and have the power to change the world.
