About this Organization
Fire & Bliss is a platform that provides soulful, transformational art to patrons who seek an intimate space to be moved by art and engaged with the artists who create it. We built this platform to be a community and brave space for like-minded creatives who center racial justice and queer liberation in their work and their lives.
We know this work is important because for queer artists and artists of color, expression is a means of survival. We recognize that QTBIPOC artists in particular have been systemically underpaid for their talent and work, and we want to help change that. From drag queens to Jazz musicians, creating art has always been a universal way of expressing joy, community, love, and pain. At Fire & Bliss, we see art as a tool for understanding the world we live in, reimagining it, and daring to create the world we’d like to see — and we welcome everyone who shares this vision.
Our Processes
At Fire & Bliss, we ensure that every single vendor we use — from our printer, to our bank, our bookkeeper, and our web designer — share the same vision for racial justice and LGBTQ+ liberation. Everything we create is made in the United States with fair labor practices. We intentionally collaborate with Black and brown, and/or queer-owned businesses and vendors with environmentally responsible practices.
