About this Organization

Established in 2005, Models Envied was founded by Antoine Anderson, Jessica Glover, Jason Owens, Roger Redd, and Tasha Gamble. They were five individuals who were unique and fashionable that needed an outlet to express themselves artistically. Models Envied is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable model instruction to the DMV area. There are many active and dedicated modeling companies already located in the DMV. However, there has never been a modeling company with such dedication to the young people they instruct, where these people can expand their knowledge of modeling, choreography and enjoy being with other people of similar interests. In August 2022 a new executive board was announced. Orlando Ortiz (CEO), Omar Ortiz (President), Sharnae Barnes (Vice President), and First lady Chate’a Thomas. The new board goals are to elevate the standards that were place before the new positions and create outstanding models to one day lead the next generation in the future. Not only are we influencing adult models in the DMV area, but we have our very children modeling company entitled Mini M.E Children Models. Mini M.E Children Models is a modeling and entertainment company, led by President of Models Envied Entertainment Omar Ortiz. Mini M.E Children Models was built to create a platform for kids who have so much talent and needs for artistic expression such as modeling, dance, and acting. Within the five years this company has been established, we have managed to accomplish more than expected in this short amount of time. We have produced seven major fashion shows starring our models. We have been invited all over the DMV area to perform for charity, church, and social events. Mini M.E collaborated with Steve Harvey Hoodie Award winning Salon Couture and became grand prize winners at the Glynn Jackson Golden Scissor Awards. We have also orchestrated a flash mob during New York Fashion Week twice in the last two years. The models modeled their own collection at the Lincoln Center Theater where the best of the best designers showcase their very own collection in front of prestigious fashion celebrities, magazines, news editors, etc. One of our biggest accolades was competing in Harlem, New York at the Legendary Apollo Theatre. The models came in first place which was a huge accomplishment and helped build the models confidence. Models Envied offers a place where people can not only learn to model, but also build self-confidence to develop their own personal style, meet new people, have fun, and feel comfortable. We offer a varied model program with price options for all levels of interests. We give lessons incorporating group classes or small package sessions to reach a model skill objective. Models Envied Entertainment welcomes a diversity of people and maintains a high reputation of excellence in our artistry.
