About this Organization
The OCEAN PINES PLAYERS was established in 1974 for the entertainment of the greater Ocean City, Maryland area. The non-profit theater group funds scholarship programs for students through ticket proceeds. Known locally for their comedy, drama and “who done it?” productions, they also present cabaret events including fun holiday themed shows suitable for the entire family. Bringing history alive is a favorite among the actors in the group, like the annual Berlin Peach Festival and OC Life-Saving Station Museum’s Summer Programs. The Ocean Pines Players welcome “beginners” by highlighting that “experience is not required.” We encourage those interested in learning performance or even stage assistance, makeup, costumes, lighting and sound. Everyone is vital to the show’s ultimate success. The community’s support rounds out the volunteer effort. In that light, please consider a sponsorship or donation to our organization.
