Yoder Art & Framing is a custom picture framing shop, studio, and art gallery owned by Lynn Yoder and affiliated with Spruce Forest Artisan Village in Grantsville, MD. Lynn started the business in 2022 with 16 years of experience as a professional framer and designer. Yoder Art & Framing is home to Lynn’s studio and gallery of oil paintings, offering plein air, portrait, and religious works. Art classes are available. Lynn frames and preserves a large variety of items including diplomas & certificates; needlepoint & cross stitch; medals & badges; sports jerseys & memorabilia; puzzles; and, of course, photos, prints, and original works of art. Weekly oil painting classes are held in the gallery of Yoder Art & Framing. Each month includes lectures & demos from the artist, Lynn Yoder. Students work on projects of their choosing. The painting entitled, “Friends,” is about everyday moments. Relationship with God happens, not only in church or in similar formal settings, but also at any moment when one is mindful of God's presence. Originally commissioned for a family who lost their son to cancer, this painting brings hope. The son loved being in nature. What better place than here to experience friendship with God?
