Wifty Bangura is a multifaceted creative specializing in sound healing. Not only is she a poet whose
words are both ethereal and entrancing, she’s also a versatile veteran with 6 years of training as a
classical vocalist and 13 years of performing experience. Wifty got her start studying classical voice at
Baltimore School for the Arts High School. Her Sierra Leonean roots have a big influence on her music
as she grew up listening to West African reggae. Along with being a musician, Wifty has dedicated part
David Manzanares is a classical guitarist from Houston, Texas. Having started at a late age, David has already gone on to win several awards in both solo and ensemble competitions, including but not limited to winning first place at the Houston Classical Guitar Festival High School and College Division, UT Dallas Guitar Competition Youth Division, and the Southwest Guitar Festival. Some of his notable performances include performing at Stude Concert Hall, the Miller Outdoor Theater, and Kresge Concert Hall.
Melissa Foss’ work takes different forms, from sculptural ceramic instruments, improvisational performances, and electroacoustic compositions to educational workshops and residencies for all ages. Through these different expressive channels, she explores themes of memory, kinship, and myth, as well as sound itself; its ability to inspire awe and its power to generate collective moments of shared emotions and connection.
