Daryl Davis graduated from Howard University, with a degree in Jazz. Outside of school, he was personally trained by legendary Blues, Boogie Woogie and Rock'n'Roll pianists Pinetop Perkins and Johnnie Johnson who both claimed him as their godson and praised his ability to master a piano style that was popular long before he was born. In addition to being a pianist and vocalist, Daryl is also a professional actor, author, and lecturer, residing in Maryland.
Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland I found inspiration in the world around me. I learned to draw, paint and practice music as my primary creative outlets until I was 24 years old. When I became the head 3D technician at Salisbury University my journey into Pottery and Sculpture began. In 2017 I left the college at that point a professor of ceramics to focus on my own pottery full time. My range of work is quite expansive from production mugs and functional wares to delicate decorative art works.
