Pamela Woolford
Pamela Woolford is an interdisciplinary artist and keynote speaker, intertwining her work as a writer, filmmaker, performer, and immersive-media director to create new forms of narrative work about Black women and girls and others whose joy, imagination, and inner life are under-explored in American media and popular art. She is the recipient of six Maryland State Arts Council Awards, five film-festival awards internationally, a Changemaker Challenge Award from United Way of Central Maryland and Horizon Foundation, and a Baker Artist Award in interdisciplinary arts.\
Janice "the Griot" Greene
Janice Curtis Greene is an award-winning Author, Master Storyteller and Historical Interpreter, an American Griot.  She has been telling African, African American, and Multicultural stories for over 30 years.  She is Past President of the Griots' Circle of Maryland, Inc. and Immediate Past President of the  National Association of Black Storytellers.  Mrs. Greene, also, serves as a Commissioner on the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture.

National Players is America’s longest-running touring theatre company and the signature outreach program of Olney Theatre Center, a Helen Hayes Award-winner and one of two state-designated theatres in Maryland. This distinctive ensemble stimulates imagination and critical thinking by producing classic plays and literary adaptations in invigorating ways for audiences of all ages. National Players serves all corners of Maryland and the country, and the ensemble performs for a diversity of audiences from students to the general public, the elderly, and the incarcerated.
