I grew up in Essex, MD.  I was taught to draw from my father.  I studied Advertising, Fine Arts, and Photography in Ohio at the Columbus College of Art and Design.  Leaving school just shy of graduating, I toured the United States, and ended up in Olympia, Wa. for six years.  There I lived as a full time artists.  I have had shows from Washington State and Maryland over the years.

Tamila has a combination of formal and practical experience as an artist. As a resident of beautiful Southern Maryland, she finds inspiration from many sources, each uniquely influencing her creative process: Chesapeake Bay, farmlands, nature, personal experiences, travel, and music, to list a few. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia (country), Tamila developed techniques through art classes and continuous practice. Key elements that define Tamila as an artist are dedication, a unique creative vision, and a continuous pursuit of growth and expression in her artwork.
