Artist Statement
I am an abstract painter. I leverage both traditional techniques and the latest technologies to create a unique kind of art that references nature in its multiplicity of forms.
I’m an artist who loves working with henna, gouache, and watercolor. I draw a lot of inspiration from my surroundings and enjoy exploring new techniques and ideas. For me, art is all about learning, experimenting, and capturing the beauty I see in the world around me.
I am a textile and 2D artist.
Drift / Ancient Ice
Installation consisting of a 300 lb. block of ice melting with hydrophones inserted, video projection (captured in the Arctic) of drifting sea ice, audio captured in the Arctic of melting glaciers, tarp, and cast aluminum forms.
