I became interested in drawing and painting when I was in my twenties and took a few classes. I realized that I really enjoyed making art and have taken it up as my craft. I have done many commissions and have a studio at Manor Mill Gallery in Monkton, Maryland.
I am a member of The Arts Collective and often exhibit at their gallery in Towson, Maryland. My preferred medium is oil paint but I also enjoy working in charcoal, watercolor and pastels.

Started Blacksmithing in 2004 with the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland located in Carroll County at the Carroll County Farm Museum and head blacksmith at the 1797 Union Mills Shriver Homestead in Union Mills outside of Westminster, MD. in 2005 till 2021. Started Wood Working in 2012 with the Mid Maryland Woodturners club.
