I have been making pottery since a class in college where I finally figured out why I was born with large hands. I learned quickly and have continued to hone my skills. I planned on working as a marine biologist but my love of working in clay led me to make a career change. I have not looked back. My work has evolved over the years. It is inspired by the natural environment, both terrestrial and marine. I throw and/or hand build my functional work in stoneware and some decorative work in raku clay and glazes.
