Life experience and profession has enabled me to become proficient blending woodworking, metalworking and technology to create hypnotic and therapeutic art displays.
I Have been working with clay for the last 25 years. My discipline allows me to create a multitude of work from sculptural to functional. I taught ceramics for 10 years at my university's student center, and at two Maryland art centers, Baltimore Clayworks and Maryland Hall for the creative arts. I have worked independently for the last 15 years, creating and selling my art from my home studio in Annapolis and at several art festivals across the region. My sculptural work, so far, has been allegorical and commission based.

Founder of Tolson Art+Design, an artist + art educator. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design in Washington, DC and my MA in Art Education from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD. With a strong formal education and decades of experience, I endeavor to bring fresh ideas to support clients' needs as well as my own need to communicate visually.
