Baltimore based artist, James ALPHA Massaquoi Jr., is an emerging artist that works primarily with large drawings made with charcoal and pastels. Alpha was born in West African, Liberia, as the youngest of four to an upper middle-class family, where his father worked as a florist for the United States embassy to Liberia, and his mother was a Fashion designer with a small charcoal business. At age fourteen Alpha and his family moved to the U.S. seeking the "American dream".
Alesa Good grew up in rural Waynesboro, PA where she spent much of her time enjoying the outdoors and developing her passion for traditional art. She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Painting from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, her Associate in Arts degree in Visual Arts from Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown, MD and studied Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. Alesa's deep love for nature is reflected throughout her work as she frequently combines natural observation with imagination.
Jennifer “Jeni” Fairman has had a love of art and a penchant for science all her life. She is a certified medical illustrator and principal artist of her illustration studio, Fairman Studios. Jeni’s metalsmithing and jewelry-making take place at Jeni Elizabeth Jewelry. Constantly inspired by anatomy, science, and nature, Jeni creates pieces that incorporate these subjects.

I've always drawn - started too young to be intimidated by portraiture. I graduated from Corcoran in 1983 & The University of Maryland 4 years later. My late husband, Michael & I raised our daughter, Katherine in old Greenbelt. Teaching kindergarten for 20 years was most rewarding but left little time for my art. Retirement, remarriage, & a home studio here in Laurel has allowed me to create portraits full time. I have exhibited with The Laurel Art Guild many times. My favorite venue is the Montpelier Mansion.
I am a painter and illustrator and a current student at Frostburg State University. Painting portraits and sketching comics, my work allows me to constantly brainstorm new projects and ideas. I use a wide variety of different techniques and mediums across my pieces in order to create an ever-evolving sense of style. Constructing a comical aspect with well-rounded characters and wacky cartoonish self-portraits, I welcome viewers to see the humor behind most of my illustrative pieces.

As an independent artist, Durdi Doug is able to diversify his brand by engaging in a variety of activities within the entertainment industry. Doug is on the scene, but he is also behind the scenes. Durdi Doug is a verified musician on Google, and he is the CEO of Vibes Entertainment. His popular single “Birthday Drop” premiered on World Star Hip Hop and ranked #1 on the Digital DJ Pool website.
