I am an active resident of Baltimore City currently working with several, nonprofit organizations to lead art workshops and classes with young people. I am a visual artist and advocate. I am deeply passionate and supportive of Baltimore's DIY music scene. While I am very excited to begin bringing my community practice into that space, I am currently finishing my MFA in Community Arts at MICA, and looking forward to opportunities to showcase my personal art practice which is multidisciplinary.

Artist Statement
My name is Benjamin Baugham; artist name Boy Blue. I am a traditional ink artist by passion and a chalk artist by calling. I have never been formally trained in the arts but I have been divinely gifted with the ability to communicate with others. I devote all my art to Christ, not necessarily in subject but always in my intention. My ink on canvas expresses the darker parts of our nature as people; how complex our flaws can be and how beautiful they become when explained and redeemed. Working in the industry for 10+ years now. I am a free-lance illustrator and multi medium artist. My works range from Pyrography to digital art. Graduating in 2013 with my BFA in Illustration I am currently on my path to further my education and experience in a tentative MFA program.
Caryn Chavarria is a Latina artist who grew up in Silver Spring but currently resides in Rockville. She specializes in drawing, painting, digital art, and photography. She is a high school art teacher at Rockville High school, where she teaches digital art, photography, and ceramics. Her work will be featured in the Wheaton Arts Parade promotional material.
Amanda Howard (Gough) is a foundationally Black and Aegean multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the layered complexities of identity through the lenses of ancestry, mixed-race heritage, motherhood, spirituality, and femininity. Utilizing various media, she crafts visual narratives that delve into the interplay between personal history and collective memory.
Irene is an artist that has explored several different mediums including drawing, painting, and sculpture. They went to Carver Center for the Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland for Visual Arts and then University of Maryland, Baltimore County to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Irene now combines their interests in science with their art in order to spark more interest in nature.
Brennan Donovan is a painter from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. His most recent work explores making making process with light. Raúl Aguilar with the artistic name Héctor D'León, was born in 1973 in Estelí, Nicaragua, is a multifaceted artist and engineer. Influenced by his uncle, painter Donaldo Altamirano, and his father, a lawyer who first career was industrial design. He began formal art training at age 12 at the "Casa de la Cultura." Educated under the Jesuits at Central American High School, he developed a passion for literature and initially pursued "Arts and Letters" at UCA before switching to electronic engineering at UNI.
