Born in Washington, D.C. watching the city transition I had to find options to stay out of trouble. I always expressed an interest in art and sports. I couldn't draw at all I only was drawing stick figures and one day at the library I found a book on how to draw cartoons. I learned and developed my own vision of cartoons on paper then clothing. Wanting to improve on this blessing. I began to work with different medians such as sand, glass, beads, acrylics, foam to create puppets, beautiful fun canvas art.
My name is Jeff Elmore and I like to tell stories in unconventional ways. I’ve never been afraid to think outside of the box or throw the box away and create something brand new in its place. Taking inspiration of the slick and stylized Harlem Renaissance, the vivid color influence of Pop Art, and the impactful influence of comic books, I’ve developed my own version of storytelling with a sometimes unapologetically black narrative.
My artworks combine tradition and innovation, creating interactive art that transcends all boundaries. My work combines the elegance of wood with digital kinetic art, inviting viewers to experience art through multiple senses. As an expatriate adjusting to a new home while embracing my cultural roots, I find meaning and clarity in the complex role of life. My art goes beyond static sculptures, blending between wood and technology. Motors, sensors and augmented reality (AR) converge in my works, creating vivid stories in which nature, mechanics and digital realms come together.
Hello my name is Talanee Tillery. Better known as Dr.T
I am a mixed Media Artist that gravitates toward texture and movement. I enjoy working with modeling paste and oil/ soft pastel along with charcoal, acrylic & oil paint to create a unique flow either in short burst or thick long flowing strokes.
The tools I use are mainly based on my mood at the time working on a piece, could be anything from a brush / trowel / paper towel, string or even fingers. I love to experiment by using different mediums.
Fine arts student at St. Mary's College of Maryland
I became interested in drawing and painting when I was in my twenties and took a few classes. I realized that I really enjoyed making art and have taken it up as my craft. I have done many commissions and have a studio at Manor Mill Gallery in Monkton, Maryland.
I am a member of The Arts Collective and often exhibit at their gallery in Towson, Maryland. My preferred medium is oil paint but I also enjoy working in charcoal, watercolor and pastels.
