David Zuccarini was born in Baltimore and attended the Corcoran School of Art and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
The subjects of Zuccarini’s paintings are frequently taken from his immediate surroundings. His family, students, and studio figure prominently in his work. “In the process of painting those subjects that you know, you find your own voice," he says. "You learn from each piece that you do and sometimes a dialogue ensues. You start out with one idea, and by the time you finish the piece something else occurs to you. It’s an ongoing process."
Nguyên Khôi Nguyễn is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator. He is the cartoonist of the Ignatz nominated comic series, The Gulf. Nguyen’s work has been featured in The New Yorker, Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, and Medium. He is the vocalist/pianist of the jazz trio, Superior Cling, and he is a digital media lecturer at Loyola University Maryland. As a 2021 Rubys Artist Grantee, Nguyen is working on a graphic novel chronicling his experiences during the ongoing pandemic. Nguyên lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, son, and terrier.
Dereje Demissie, Weldegeorgis (1982) made his BFA in 2012, in Painting and in Mural arts in 2002 from Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was one of the founders of Nubia Visual Art Studio. Dereje has participated in group exhibitions in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Dubai, Germany and here in USA and has had seven solo shows, including the Modern Art Museum of Gebre Kristo Desta in2022 and the National Museum of Ethiopia in 2013.
PAUL DANIEL, an artist noted for kinetic sculpture, has exhibited work in numerous venues including Acknowledging the Wind, an exhibition of seven major kinetic sculptures at Ladew Topiary Gardens, Monkton, MD. Mr. Daniel’s sculptures address nature (wind, light and movement). They respond to the currents and calm of environmental wind. Kinetic sculptural elements indicate the rotation of the earth, velocity of the wind and mark time.

Tomas Payne is not just a photographer, but an individual that has the ability to freeze time. He tries not to just capture images, but use photography as a medium to tell a story. Invoking emotions from those who view his work while pushing viewers that awe over an image and immense themselves fully into the scene. Since his freshman year of high school, Tomas’s camera never left his side, instead he used the time to turn his hobby into a passion. I am a retired Human Services professional with a BFA Degree in Art Education from The Maryland Institute College of Art.I have also completed post-graduate courses in Graphic Design and Illustration.
I have exhibited and been published, as a result of international cartoon competitions, in various countries throughout Europe, Asia, South America, The Middle East, Africa and the internet.
