Victor Montague III
Born and raised in the U.S. Capital, Washington D.C. it comes as no surprise that many works base off that very environment. With colorful realism, these works capture “Our” culture while simultaneously displaying in-depth details to permanently stamp the regalness of the subject matter. We live in the now, but Victor’s art serves as a time stamp of periods of time held personal. If given the time, we have the opportunity to live many lives within our term. Embrace them, learn from them & reinvent yourself as many times as possible. Just make sure the result is forward progression.
Judith Krauthamer
My art comprises sketching and painting, using oil-based pens, alcohol-based pens, and mica powder on different sheets of plastic. My works are miniatures, typically 3.5 x 3.25 inches; the goal in creating a miniature is to present a different perspective, to give the viewer an opportunity to see the world through a different lens. I am a [by invitation only] member of the Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington DC, the oldest miniature society in the US.
