I’ve always been inclined to the arts, appreciating strange works of art, doodling, sketching, and visiting art museums where I looked up to 40ft paintings thinking how it would be to create something of such beauty. Doodling little figures, comics, and the like was the only “art” I was making at them time. I didn’t see it as a part of my life but just something I did.

Art has always been my passion, throughout my years I have dabbled in all types of styles and mediums. About two years ago I was told that not everyone could see color when they listened to music so I did more research on this and it turns out I have a neurological condition chromesthesia. To help explain what chromesthesia is I have been recreating how I see music using alcohol and ink on yupo paper and acrylic paint on canvas. My goal is to eventually find a way to recreate an interactive immersive way to really show what having chromesthesia is like.
I am a professional freelance acrylic artist who paints original paintings of local historical landmarks and people, along with fantasy-like and allegorical creatures. I frequently sell my art at local stores and festivals and showcase my art at local hospitality venues and art galleries. I also create custom commissions for the local public. My artistic style is well-known across the DMV area for its bright colors, bold brush strokes, impressionistic style, and surrealistic subject matter.
