Marielle has been an arts educator for more than 10 years teaching painting and arts management to kids, teenagers and adults. She practiced as a full time artist from 2004 -2009 before pursuing her PhD where she followed advanced painting courses alongside her PhD courses for 3 years. Marielle is the founder and Editor-in- Chief for an Arts Journal, Caribbean InTransit Arts Journal with 6 published issues. The journal is a multi-lingual publication featuring noted scholars and Caribbean artists

Angie Coulson (b. Columbus, OH) works in the mediums of painting and drawing. She graduated from The Ohio State University, with a dual major in Art and World Economy and Business in 2014.
Inspiring her creative work are the connections she finds between her background, personal life, inner mind, and the observable world. She sees the painting and drawing surface as an area to demonstrate, solve, and surrender.
