Courtnee S. Hawkins has been a practicing artist since 2003. He began studying art at Howard Community College in 2003 where he earned his associates in studio art. He then went on to continue his studies at Towson University focusing on painting under the guidance of Professors Nora Sturges and Seth Goodman. In 2008 he earned his bachelors degree in painting. Courtnee’s work is influenced by his religion and highly–developed sensitivity towards the social issues in the US and around the world. He grew up in a military family and spent most of his youth traveling.
LILLIAN BAYLEY HOOVER
Lillian Hoover earned her BFA from the University of North Carolina, Asheville and her MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. Her paintings are included in several public collections including Baltimore Museum of Art, Weatherspoon Art Museum, and DC Commission on Arts and Humanities. In 2020, Hoover received a Pollock-Krasner Grant.
EMMA ELIZABETH DOWNING
Emma Elizabeth Downing is a painter, singer, songwriter and performance artist. She found her musings while growing up in the family hospitality business; a pink motel along highway 280, the Heart of Dixie Motel in Alabama. Much of her work is informed by the customers, landscape and her mother, who worked and sang constantly. In 1983 E.Liz received her Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and studied under the great painter, Grace Hartigan.

Ellie has 20 years experience as an artist. A member of Harford Artists' Association & Arts by the Bay Gallery - Havre de Grace, MD. Portrait Commissions in Pastel and Oil portraits of children, family pets and adults accepted. She has won commendations and certifications of appreciation for contributions from the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland. MARIAN OSHER
Marian Osher, a painter and printmaker, born in Philadelphia, has lived most of her life in Maryland. She enjoys working in her studios in Maryland and near the Delaware seashore. She received her BA (University of Maryland) and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking (George Washington University). She has had twenty-nine solo shows. Her artwork has been shown in numerous group exhibitions in the U.S., and in international shows in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, India, and Italy. Osher is included in the Green Art Guide and the Women Environmental Artist’s Directory.
Lisa Sheirer
Lisa Sheirer is a visual artist, living and working in Frederick, Maryland. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking from West Virginia University, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from The University of Notre Dame. Ms. Sheirer has been creating artwork for over 40 years.

Doris C. Glovier 2002-2007 Professional designer and author in the Arts & Crafts Industry. Book Titles: The Stamped and Stenciled Home, Rockport Publishing The Weekend Crafter; Stenciling, Lark Books Floorcloths and Fun Stuff, Grace Publications. During this time, Doris Glovier designs and articles were published in multiple magazines and professional publications. Primary focus was designing and developing an extensive line of craft and home décor stencils, marketed by Quilting Creations International, Inc.
LOU JOSEPH
Lou Joseph (b.1975) is a Baltimore artist working in painting, printmaking and installation. He is a project manager for the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and also director of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Baltimore. He earned a BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1998 and an MFA from Indiana University in 2004. He lives in the Radnor-Winston neighborhood with his wife Miriam and son Gabe.
MARIAN BICKERSTAFF
Marian Bickerstaff, originally from Telford, PA has been painting in oil since the late 70’s starting with a paint set received as a gift. She studied with several painters locally in Southeast PA and also at Montgomery County Community College. She received several awards from local shows and two blue ribbons from the Perkiomen Valley Art League shows. In 1990, one of her pieces – Skippack Barn in Snow II, was chosen for the cover of the Souderton Independent’s Christmas Insert. Some of her works have been sold at auction for non-profit fundraisers.
