Janet is an abstract artist creating luminous, intuitive paintings and drawings that express novel ways of perceiving and interpreting the unexpected beauty transcending everyday life.
A native of Baltimore, Janet studied studio art and art history at the University of Maryland, College Park on a full scholarship awarded by the Maryland State Legislature. After a long career on the west coast as a graphic designer and naming consultant, she returned to her home state and to the creative work she loves most - improvisational painting and drawing.

Hope Bullard is a self-taught artist with a love for landscapes. Her journey into painting began five years ago. She previously sketched and dabbled in pastels to pass the time. After the birth of her son, she spent a lot of time wandering down hospital hallways. Something about the art used to decorate the hallways inspired her to create. This coupled with the frustration of finding the right piece to complete interior design projects led her to try her hand at painting. Although focused on acrylic on canvas, she has created pieces on glass, wood, and acrylic as well.
Rashad Ali Muhammad is a multidisciplinary collage artist known for creating vivid and captivating works reflecting the vast complexities of our human existence. His love for innovation and continued experimentation fuels my whimsical and enchanting artistic sensibilities. He works primarily in mixed media analog and digital collage.

“Aligning my skills has shifted my relationship with my art, providing a level of fulfillment that was missing from my previous work and allowing me to enjoy the process of creating.”
I am an abstract painter who enjoys painting larger pieces on canvas. I use acrylic paints, pastels, charcoal, and occasionally spray paint to bring my music-inspired paintings to life. I will occasionally create artwork on paper largely for art studies. My creative process starts first and foremost with the music which informs my palette selection and sets the tone for the energy in the work ahead. After this foundation is established, my work is created through intuitive responses and reactions to music, a love of life, and all its experiences.
