Born and raised in Baltimore City, I participated in the Baltimore City Gifted & Talent Art program from elementary through middle school. I attended high school at Mergenthaler Vocational & Technical Sr. High School, where I was educated in Commercial Arts. Upon graduation from Mergenthaler in 1990, I went into the United States Air Force for 9 years. I continued to work on my art. Studying the works of my favorite artists. Edward Degas, and Van Gough.
My name is RayKay Keefer, and I am a college graduate, illustration major and communication design minor. Heavily influenced by the art scene in my hometown, Baltimore MD, i have always taken interest mark-making. With an early interest in figure forms and fine art, I began my creative journey through higher education. From there I find that I am happiest creating detailed works that allude to a larger topic. Using a variety of traditional and digital media, I utilize both illustration and design to convey informative messages and stories.
Rory Holcomb is a Baltimore based artist presently attending MICA. Their work is largely inspired by nostalgia, and how nostalgia and desire can shape relationships with the people around you. They work within many mediums, including painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture. In their free time, they can be found questing, receiving visions, and slaying dragons.
