Joyce Simmons
Even as a child, Joyce was drawn to creating her own artwork. Coloring books were frustrating, because they only offered two pages that appealed to her, the blank insides of the front, and back covers. That love of creating continued through the GP Art program in High School, and the thrilling opportunity to attend Ringling College of Art and Design.
Lauren G. Koch
Creator • Wanderer • Alchemist • Healer • Teacher • Feeler For Lauren, creating and sharing knowledge isn’t just a job, it is her life. She received her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Maryland in 2020 and is a classically trained musician. You will often find her instructing art-related courses at area universities and arts centers, taking commissions for sculptures, prints, paintings, and graphic design, as well as consulting on large public art projects.
Great Blue Fiber
Great Blue Fiber specializes in handwoven tapestries and wall hangings designed and woven by Jenny Walton. Many wall hangings are commissioned for private homes or spaces, and some are for sale through the artists Etsy store. Jenny’s studio is based in Queenstown, Maryland. Specializing in all natural and sustainable fibers her woven wall decor, handmade home furnishings, and jewelry are one of a kind.
Naomi Rose Weintraub
Naomi Rose Weintraub (they/them) is a multimedia artist, educator, and cultural organizer based in Baltimore, Maryland on the lands of the Piscataway and Susquehannock peoples. Their artwork spans various mediums such as puppetry, zines, mosaics, and murals. Naomi's multimedia art practice explores themes such as play, anarchism, Jewish ritual, and ecology. Naomi has exhibited their work at several venues including Rhizome DC, the Jewish Museum of Maryland, and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
