Camila de Ilhéus
Camila is an artist from Ilhéus, Bahia, Brasil. She resides in the cool city of Baltimore, MD. Her work brings attention to the queer immigration experience she’s familiar with. Through her art, she provides the representation she wishes she had access to while growing up. Her most recent project, SOFIA (2025) has screened at festivals around the world, including Austin, Calgary International, Urbanworld, New/Next, amongst others. A citizen of "in-betweens," Camila explores what is lost, what is left behind, and the continual negotiation of cultural identity.
Cara Lee Wade
A confirmed nerd, Cara Lee Wade studied many things, Musical Theatre to Archaeology, ultimately receiving undergraduate degrees in Education and English. Her first photo class was an elective, a fluke, but from her first experience in the darkroom, her world was changed. She immediately shifted plans, receiving her MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and starting her collegiate teaching career in 2004. She joined the faculty at Salisbury University fall of 2024. As a practicing artist, she works in performative photography as well as 19th century alternative processes.
