I am a visual storyteller, currently pursuing a BFA at Shepherd University while raising three teenagers. In 2022, I was honored with the TCS Professionalism Award, recognizing my dedication, work, ethic, and commitment to creative excellence.  From 2016 to 2019, I expand my practices into acting, photography, video creation, and television production - deepening my passion for emotionally resonant narratives and collaborative media. These experiences, along with the industry recognition, have helped me build a strong foundation in the creative arts.

Chris Wallis is an award-winning filmmaker with expertise in visual storytelling and multimedia production. With a passion for creating compelling content, Chris has directed projects for non-profits, advocacy groups, political campaigns, and businesses. When he's not behind the camera, Chris enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, and spending quality time outdoors with his partner and daughter.

The title, 'Cryptofacia', stands for 'Hidden Faces'. In this video I present a series of faces emerging out of a variety of media to show the viewer how remarkable the mind is in its determination to recognize the human visage no matter how extreme the mask it wears.

The music accompanying the video 'The Chairman Dances,' a 1985 composition by John Adams, and is being used under the 'Fair Use Doctrine'--not for profit, but for educational purposes only.

Alex El Dahdah
Alex El Dahdah (born in Byblos, Lebanon - lives in Baltimore, MD.) is a filmmaker and visual artist primarily focusing on collective identities, space, and memory themes. His oeuvre encompasses independent films, video art, photography, and graphic prints, examining introspectively ancestry, linguistic metaphors, and expressions of faith and identity. El Dahdah's work has been screened and exhibited in numerous film festivals and galleries in major cities such as Los Angeles, Saint Petersburg, Mumbai, Beijing, Tokyo, London, and Montreal.
Emery
Emery Moore is a multimedia artist who was born in Maryland and grew up in the town of Berwyn Heights. He has earned dual degrees in Art and Environmental Studies from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland, and the art he creates shows his environmental interests. His work was included in the SMCM All-Student Exhibitions in 2022 and 2023, One of his pieces in the 2022 All-Student show won The SGA Cultural Relations Investigation and Actions Committee Most Cultural/Social Impact, and in the 2023 show a piece won The Student Government Association Award for Most Innovative Work.
Schaun Champion
Schaun Champion is a multidisciplinary visual artist, director of photography and instructor. Using both digital and analog visual tools, Schaun explores the histories and myths humans tell themselves through portraiture, fine art and cultural documentary/archival works—creating intentionally cinematic and honest imagery influenced by the threads of classic films, music, themes of nature, and nostalgia while illustrating the drama within the familiar.
Sarahia Benn
Sarahia Benn is a premier multi-instrumentalist, high energy performer, music educator, media consultant, concert promoter, producer, songwriter, and arranger. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she either studied, graduated, or worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Lalah Hathaway, Quincy Jones III, Delfeayo Marsalis, David Dyson, Paula Cole, Juliana Hatfield, the late-Roy Hargrove, Danilo Perez, and the late-Jeff Ramsey.

Khadijah Ali-Coleman
Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman, Ed.D served as the second Poet Laureate of Prince George's County, MD from 2023-2025.  She is a cultural curator with over 20 years of applied experience transforming places into arts and educational spaces.
