Nick Sweeney
Vic Velour is an artist whose main medium is paint. Focusing on abstract works using unorthodox methods, he is able to transform blank canvas into a hypnotizing scene using wild compositions and negative space. His paintings pair texture and visual elements that will have you wanting to hold the pieces in your hand to truly explore their depth.

Karen A Ruberry
Karen Raukko Ruberry grew up on the shores of a small, quiet creek in southeast Baltimore County, loving and enjoying the water and rural farm fields surrounding her childhood home. She also paints flowers from her gardens, and gardens in the surrounding areas.
Stowell Walton
I have lived in this area most of my life. I am from Harpers Ferry and attended the Banner School and St. John's at Prospect Hall in Frederick. My mother taught art at Banner and at other schools. My father worked for the NPS as an architect, so I got a Masters in Architecture to work with him. I create multimedia art, books, and music with SCOD (the Sustainable Cooperative for Organic Development). We collaborate with other artists, authors, and musicians for non-profit non-competitive organic production as a primary aspect of living. My pen name is Drogo Empedocles. Blessed be.

Marty Spence
About The Artist Art is capturing a moment of time. A moment of one’s soul. That is why every piece of art is different even if we are looking at the same model or the same still life or landscape. It has to be different because the art is a reflection of who we are at the moment, and how we are relating to the object or person at that moment. In doing so, we are bringing our histories with us: Our past, present and hopes for the future.   I really don’t know what led me to art. I didn’t get there until much later in life.
