Tarah Boyd
Based in Ellicott City, Maryland, Tarah Boyd is a multidisciplinary artist who creates large scale macrame, woven and tufted fiber art. Her engaging work is whimsical and delicate, yet embedded in the earthly, natural materials she uses. Boyd's free-form style has allowed the fibers to create a pattern (or shape) organically, revealing the beauty and vulnerability of her materials. Boyd was raised in Maryland, received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and her Graphic Design Certificate, before discovering her true passion for fiber art.
