Fresh Academicz is an urban arts academy located in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment district in downtown Hagerstown. The academy reaches inner city youth through hip hop culture where students explore the art of hip hop through dance, rap, MC, and graffiti. Our goal is to introduce the youth to positive hip-hop culture and music and educate the community about this American-born art form that was birthed in the inner cities of America and has now become influential worldwide.
ACCR expands access to original visual art through public exhibitions and provides opportunities for artists to have their work permanently placed in nonprofit organizations throughout Washington, DC, and Baltimore.

For the woman who adores watercolor, she can find prints and originals of paintings composed by some of the gallery’s artists. For the man intrigued by sculpture, he will find pieces of varying materials, synthesized into a new entity.
