Founded in 2010, 1101 Dance Academy is a comprehensive nonprofit dance organization that partakes in both competitions and showcases. Offering training in genres such as African, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Majorette, Pom, Tumbling, and so much more. We welcome all genders and levels of experience from ages 8-18.
Our vision is to become and maintain a state-of-the-art institution of excellence that equips people of all ages and cultures to actively pursue and utilize innate and developed talents, gifts, skills, and abilities in music and the performing arts. We believe we impact lives locally, nationally, and internationally.
Southerngal Productions is a local production company specializing in theater and film productions. It is owned by Roxanne Reid a local Prince Georges' County residence. I am a writer, Director and Producer of eleven theater plays, since 2011. I am currently in production for my first film, which is due out in April of 2023. I am available for skit and play writing. Elemnts UNDeR The Sun is a black owned music & arts festival currently in planning aiming to have our first festival in August 2023 in Washington, DC. We are working hard to bring awareness to our organization so we can have the biggest turnout as possible. Established in 1995, Joe’s Movement Emporium is a cultural arts hub that acts as a catalyst for creativity and economic opportunity. Based in Mount Rainier, Maryland in the Prince George’s Gateway Arts District, Joe’s serves more than 70,000 visitors annually. Joe’s has five arts-based youth programs that bridge the creative divide between under-resourced families and those with means. Through programs and productions in education, performing arts, and work readiness, Joe’s integrates progressive education, creativity, and youth development.
