Josh Brooks
Josh Brooks is a Baltimore-based artist known for his distinctive approach to figurative painting, where vibrant color, expressive gesture, and a spirit of romantic rebellion converge. Raised in Cold Spring, New York, Brooks was immersed in art from an early age, studying drawing and painting while dedicating much of his youth to competitive hockey. When a severe leg injury abruptly ended his athletic trajectory, he turned to his love of art, finding healing through his artistic practice. AKGAlways
Hi, I’m Ashley Always. Your friendly neighborhood maker of all things cute, curious, and creatively chaotic. I’m a multidisciplinary artist who loves turning beads, broken jewelry, recycled bits, and straight up trash into sustainable art and home décor that makes people smile. If it sparkles, rattles, used to be something else, or was headed for the dumpster, there’s a good chance it will end up in one of my pieces.
