Clarence Ward III and his band Dat Feel Good are one of the most sought-after neo-jazz bands based in the DC/MD areas.
Ward III is a flugelhornist, saxophonist, and trumpeter whose lion’s heart style of playing positions him as the vanguard of reinforcing jazz musics’ vital voice in these modern times. He has performed with a diverse range of artists including Gladys Knight, N’Dambi Blue, Robert Glasper, Nancy Wilson, Musiq Soulchild, Benny Golson, Aretha Franklin, and toured with R&B Soul Singer Ledisi.

Amatullah'Muhyi Ali is an uprooted artist using various mediums collectively to create genre-bending cinematic pieces that feature and highlight the African diaspora while providing a call to action for all who witness.
As a vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and recording engineer, Kagey Parrish has spent the last thirteen years focused on live performance and music production. He is a founding member of the internationally touring duo the Honey Dewdrops, and he regularly performs with Baltimore, Maryland-based bands the Bottom Rung and Caleb Stine. In addition, Kagey provides recording services including engineering, producing, vocal, and instrumental parts.
Moving History teaches the story of African American people through kinetic education and performance programs. As a practical solution to increase the attention to black history in educational curriculums, the Moving History initiative works to bring the story of African Americans to students and communities through the Arts.

Artistic professional with 10 years of training and performance experience in dance theater in the United States and abroad. I hold a B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from Point Park University. I instruct dance classes for youth and adults as part of my mission to share the joy of movement and dance. Additionally, I am a filmmaker who produces short films featuring original poetry and choreographs for both stage and film. I specialize in both in-person and virtual formats.
