I am a ceramic artist working in porcelain. I make both sculptural and functional, hand built works. I typically use my pieces as a canvas for underglaze painting. My work has a slightly Victorian era whimsy to it. Animals are a constant subject in my work, both painted on the surfaces of my pieces and in sculpture form. My goal for the future is to combine my love of creating art with my passion for preserving and nurturing the natural environment - possibly through fund raising exhibit opportunity.

Adele Schmidt is a multifaceted professional with expertise in media production, documentary filmmaking, and Film and Media Arts education. She co-founded and currently serves as the artistic director of Docs In Progress, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community through the art of documentary filmmaking.
CreateNourish's founder, Evlyn Baker, provides consultancy services related to operations, fundraising/development, and creative placemaking interventions to arts, culture, and community-focused small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Heidi Mordhorst is a working poet and teacher who has taught in diverse classrooms for 35 years. She is the author of two collections of poetry for young readers (SQUEEZE: POEMS FROM A JUICY UNIVERSE and PUMPKIN BUTTERFLY: POEMS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF NATURE, both Wordsong) and many contributions to journals and anthologies for adults and children, most recently POETRY BY CHANCE (Button Poetry) and DEAR HUMAN ON THE EDGE OF TIME: POEMS ON CLIMATE CHANGE IN THE US (Paloma Press). Heidi recently served a 3-year term on the NCTE Excellence in Poetry Award Committee.

Thomas W. Pyle Middle School is a Montgomery County Public School and serves grades 6-8 in Bethesda, Maryland. More specifically, the choral program has 210 students enrolled.
An accomplished artist, Dr. Subha Maruvada has a unique distinction of celebrated excellence in two classical dance techniques of South India - Kuchipudi under Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and Bharatnatyam under Mrs. Kamala Narayana (Laxman). Her dance is distinguished for its superb abhinaya (mime), sound rhythm, and impeccable grace. Subha is the founder and artistic director of Pranava Natyam. Her dance is marked by fluidity and grace.
Susanna Mendlow is a versatile performer, arranger, and educator who enjoys playing a variety of musical styles. She captivates audiences with original two-cello arrangements of classical, popular, and world music as one half of the semi-improvisational duo Cello, World. She also regularly premieres works in the classical sextet Kassia Music and served as the cellist for QuinTango for several years. As both a soloist and chamber musician, Susanna has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Central and South America, and Central Asia.
Christine Kharazian is a concert violinist whose artistry bridges classical, traditional, and jazz music. Based in Silver Spring, MD, she began violin studies at a young age in Armenia and trained at the Tchaikovsky Advanced School of Music and the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan. Early in her career, she performed as a first violinist with the Armenian National Opera Symphony and as a featured soloist with the Sharakan Ensemble of Ancient and Medieval Music of Armenian TV and Radio.
