Riverworks Art Center
Riverworks Arts Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is a place for cultivating creativity and connection through the healing power of art. We create the resources and the space for self- expression and community engagement with three locations within the Agricultural Reserve, rich with culture, beauty, and artistic inspiration.        
Frances Vye Wilson
FRANCES VYE WILSON was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She was strongly influenced by her family of contemporary artists working in a variety of media. In her 20’s, she studied fine art and choreography at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia. She went on to spend much of her life in the film and television industry as a member of the Screen Actors Guild, a theatre producer for the Actors Studio and founder of a film production company, New Century Filmworks.
Shanna Lim
Shanna Lim is a Washington DC-based second-generation immigrant of Chinese Thai, European and Indigenous American descent. She is an interdisciplinary site-specific performance and visual artist whose work is focused on the audience's interactive plain of human connection and shaking the challenges of limited realities.
Guita Irani
Rumi Dat Ensemble is a Daf band , led by Jalal Kimia with 15 players. Creating this band has helped to introduce the Daf instrument to western culture. Rumi Daf Ensemble has held various performances since it was formed, including at Carnegie Institute for Science, Virginia Tech University, and the Annual Conference of Chicago.
David C. Newcomb
David Newcomb has been writing for almost sixty years, covering genres that include poetry, plays, a musical, three novels, nonfiction journals on theater and aviation, and a wide range of advocacy pieces for a Washington DC law firm. Retired now and focusing entirely on stage plays, Newcomb has recently completed a history entitled Hercules, Martha, and George, which dramatizes the struggle for freedom by Hercules Posey, President Washington's enslaved chef.     
WMGSO
The Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO) is a nonprofit community orchestra whose mission is to share video game music by putting on affordable, accessible concerts in the D.C. area. Founded in 2012, the ensemble has grown to more than 100 members between the orchestra and choir. WMGSO stages concerts three times a year: full ensemble concerts in the fall and spring and chamber concerts in the summer. Additional chamber performances occur at fundraisers, conventions, and community outreach events throughout the year.
