Claudia Vess 's work reflects the contemporary urban quotidian landscape. She works in multiple media: relief sculpture, printmaking, painting, and installation works. She often uses contemporary objects either as part of the print matrix, as iconic subjects in paintings, and as connectors from 3-D existence to 2-D mind's eye pictography.
She is after "a conversational spark between the viewer and the work." This interactive concept of art may have been influences by her work with Byzantine Art.
Vess exhibits locally and internationally, recently in DC, Berlin, Venice and Rome.

Eric is an abstract "automatist" artist who works in a loose abstract gestural style throughout all his media, including stone. His paintings and other 2-D works are largely made without any plan other than to keep a constant reverence for composition and open mind. Often his compositions remain non-objective, but spontaneously works will evolve to become abstract figurative forms using a technique of layering paint.
