About the Artist

Digital Art by Adam Zynger Adam Zynger has a background in art and medicine. He exhibited internationally since his high school years and in Baltimore as well, including in BMA (Baltimore Museum of Art) as part of the Artist’s Equity show. In the past he also taught college Art Appreciation and Art History courses. His playful encounters with digital art begun with the purchase of his first computer. The purity of color and new formal potential were just too irresistible to be missed He then decided to share his enthusiasm with a wider audience, exploring the possibilities offered by various media software – a new perspective on the “good old art”. While an editor of Artist’s Equity Newsletter, he published an article on Art and Science, demonstrating an underlying structural similarity in these two, seemingly unrelated, fields. It so happened that historically many mathematicians have quantified such relation, but only recently it was computer- visualized as fractals. You will find different approaches to the same subject/object. But far from being object - oriented, Zynger’s art is form and soul - searching.
