About the Artist
Career photographer and filmmaker with an BA in Journalism/Photojournalism from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and an MFA in Film from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Currently works as a documentary photographer/videographer/video editor with an international humanitarian organization based in Baltimore, MD which has her traveling internationally to cover programs and events. Melissa lives on the Eastern Shore, inspiring her to produce personal photo and film projects. She has taught as an adjunct faculty in media production at colleges such as Emerson, Franklin Pierce, and New Hampshire Institute for the Arts.
