Painting, Visual / Media

My mission is to continue to be open to challenge myself with new techniques and subjects to paint, while always staying true to my own style.

Artist's Statement

It would be difficult to imagine a life without time to paint. Art has always been an important part of my life and provides a form of meditation. I find inspiration for paintings all around me. I am drawn to painting still life and animals. Everywhere I look I can see the possibility of a new painting. After more than fifty years of painting, I continue to challenge myself. The learning and growing never ends, as the process for each new work of art shows me not only where I am, but where I want to go.
