Involvement Theater programs have been used with Maryland County Office of Aging sites, preK-12 public & private schools, College & University Student Activities, after school and No Child Left Behind programs.  The programs are adapted to the participating age level including special needs and at-risk populations.  Residencies, teacher in-service, family/parenting programs, music song writing and creative drama workshops are also available.  Please call for funding options. Alan Rubinstein, a certified public-school teacher in music education, has founded and directed Involvement Theater, Inc. since 1987. He is trained by the Maryland Teaching Artist Institute (TAI) with use of the Maryland State Fine Arts Standards for use in schools.  Alan is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music and received a MA in Arts Education from Towson University.  He also received training at Julliard & Peabody Conservatories of Music.  He is a vocalist and has performed piano, guitar and euphonium in many settings throughout the United States.
