Praneetha Akula
Praneetha Akula is a teaching artist who connects cultures through dance and her experience as an educator. She studied Bharatanatyam with her mother from the age of three and performed her formal dance debut at eleven. As a senior dancer with the Tehreema Mitha Dance Company, she choreographed for the annual Velocity DC festival and traveled across the U.S. with the company.

Je Vis Dance  If you are 2 years old or 100 years old and have a desire to dance Je Vis Dance teaches all ages the love and technique of dance.  Specializing in Latin, Bachata and Salsa styles but also knows Ballroom, Partner Dancing, Wedding and Sweet 15 Choreography.   Also offering 1 hour Hula Shows in authentic Hawanii costumes, teach audience how to shake it like a hula girl, games such as limbo, photo ops and fire finale dancing.

Since launching her career as a club promoter and DJ with Thelonious Junk (Big Beat) and Café Graffiti in Edinburgh in 1995, the UK bred, New York and Baltimore-based visionary has defined what it means to be an innovative Renaissance Woman in the fast-moving, ever-evolving music industry.
Mya D.
Mya D. Ajanku is an award winning educator, DEI Specialist and Dancer.  For several decades, dance has served as her medium for sharing and healing. Inspired and supported by her instructors in Sankofa Dance Theater, she began assisting and instructing class at age 13. As a performer, she’s shared the stage with artists such as Roberta Flack, Fertile Ground, M.I.A, and Spank Rock. Her movement research includes time with:  Sankofa Dance Theater, NaZu &Co, the National Ballets of Senegal and Cote D’Ivoire, as well as numerous instructors that specialize in movement of the African diaspora.
