For over 40 years, Slim has performed at Schools and Festivals, Hoedowns & Throwdowns all over North America and around the world.
Considered a "Self-taught" multi-instrumentalist, storyteller & Barn Dance caller, Slim says he, "learned a little bit from everyone I met as I traveled around this great country and around the world!" His greatest joy is sharing the music & dances of America and the world with children & adults.
Douglas Thomas, commonly known as Durdi Doug, is a hip hop artist and all genre writer from Baltimore City with a keen understanding of business management. As an independent artist, Durdi Doug is able to diversify his brand by engaging in a variety of activities within the entertainment industry. Doug is on the scene, but he is also behind the scenes. Durdi Doug is a verified musician on Google, and he is the CEO of Vibes Entertainment. His popular single “Birthday Drop” premiered on World Star Hip Hop and ranked #1 on the Digital DJ Pool website.
Anita has performed around the world playing clarinet, saxophone and double bass. She was a member and soloist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra touring Australia and New Zealand in 2019. Before then she has played in jazz and classical ensembles across the US and Australia and parts of Asia and Europe. She has performed in concert halls and in dive bars. She is equally comfortable playing a screaming sax solo in a rock/roots band as she is playing in the woodwind section of an orchestra. She has released 3 solo albums and is passionate about music education.

The Velvet Rope Experience Arts Showcase presents… a tribute to Janet Jackson
#VRE (The Velvet Rope Experience) is a PREMIERE pop-up visual arts showcase that infuses dope artistry, music, and red velvet-flavored eats, while paying homage to well-known music artists, bands or groups.
The first installment of #VRE will serve as a tribute to global icon JANET JACKSON and also highlight her sixth studio album The Velvet Rope.
The album's title The Velvet Rope is a metaphor for emotional boundaries and speaks to introspection, self-love and inclusion and love for others.
Accordingly, the artwork featured in the exhibit will address subject matters such as depression, self-worth, social networking, domestic violence and sexuality, and ultimately represent creative expressions of love for ALL.
