Libby Formant is a visual artist from Baltimore, MD working mainly with acrylic paint, pen, and ink. Since graduating from University of Maryland, College Park, Libby has both produced artwork as a professional artist as well as curated exhibitions in pop-up, gallery, and small museum settings. Her love of sci-fi/fantasy films and books, comics, nature and travel can be seen throughout her work.
Thiang Uk is a painter currently based in Baltimore, MD. Uk received his M.F.A. in the LeRoy E.
Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and his B.F.A. at
Hunter College in NYC in 2017. Thiang participated in residency at Skowhegan Residency in
Maine in 2023. He had so far exhibited his works in Daytona and Orlando Florida, Virginia, D.C,
New York City, and Baltimore.
His painting practice is informed by his experiences as an immigrate with multiple cultural
